Cardiff Tourist Attractions
Though Cardiff has only had city status for 100 years, interestingly Cardiff has been the site of a castle for nearly two thousand years. The Cardiff Castle we see today is, most likely, the city’s most popular tourist attraction and can be found right in the very middle of the city centre. It is possible for folk to take a guided tour throughout the castle’s interior, and, enjoy a relaxed walk about the amazingly picturesque castle gardens. You will also discover that there are many more modern visitor attractions in Cardiff, including Techniquest, one of Great Britain’s greatest centres of Science Discovery. At the centre visitors will find in excess of one hundred hands on exhibits, designed both to fascinate and entertain the whole family. The centre is home to a hi-tech Science Theatre, a laboratory, a Discovery Room and a planetarium.
