The (Malaysian Association of Travel and Tourism Agents) MATTA Fair is an exciting travel show held at the Putra World Trade Center (PWTC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 16th to 18th March 2012. It is a bi-annual event which hosts hundreds of exhibitors and has many wonderful things on offer. The first such event in Malaysia was in 1991 and commenced with 80 booths and around 9000 visitors.

The amount of booths grew to 8000 by 2005, and this has become a much anticipated travel show. This three day event is now the Number 1 Travel Fair in Malaysia. All types of travel and tourism information is contained in the one arena, making it easy for travellers to access. Companies including airlines, travel agents, sellers of merchandise and other related products can all be easily found.

The Byron Bay Ocean Swim Classic Keeps attracting more and more swimmers. This year over 1700 participants are likely to enjoy the event. Even though it is a race, many take part for the fun. The course spans 2.2kms of open ocean at Byron Bay on the north coast of New South Wales.

The course begins at charming Wategos Beach on the north side of the jut known as Cape Byron and finishes at the Main Beach forming the head of the bay. From Wategos, the course heads more north than west to take swimmers around the breakers at The Pass, a renowned surf spot. The course then heads directly across the expansive bay to the Main Beach. Cash prizes each amounting to several hundreds of dollars are awarded to the male and female division winners as well as the second and third place-getters.
